Cathy Jackson is a Midwestern Christian mother of two twenty-somethings and two teenagers. Reading is a passion of hers, but she adores writing. Some of the best people have been placed in her life to help her publish her books. They are a blessing and mean more to her than they will ever know. She loves writing scenes that uplift and encourage along with making one feel the experience. She wants readers to finish the books feeling hope, love, and happiness. To date, the books she has published are Inspirational (Christian) Romances but they have a Contemporary Romance feel.
As a part of Cathy Jackson’s blog tour, I asked for her top ten list of YouTubers and Bloggers. Here is her list:
1. Brian K. Morris-Rising Tide Publications – NEVERMIND THE FURTHERMORE
Brian K Morris is a can’t-miss blogger and Writer. We discovered one another at a Convention and became fast friends. Mr. Morris is uplifting, encouraging, and always ready to help others. His gift of gab along with his sharp wit and immeasurable amount of knowledge draws the viewer into his broadcasts, welcoming them into the Rising Tide family.
2. Pyrocynical
Pyrocynical was, and still is, one of my daughter’s go-to YouTuber. When she introduced me to his YouTube channel, I was hooked. He’s relevant, fun, and great to listen to.
3. Good Mythical Morning
Rhett & Link are two funny guys who always bring something new and creative to their broadcasts. Good Mythical Morning is an American comedy, talk and variety YouTube series I enjoy almost every morning.
4. Matthias
My daughter found Mattias on YouTube a few years ago and introduced him and his wife, Amanda, to our family. The couple was and continues to be, quirky and fun. His channel originally started with him and Amanda, but has gone through many changes. The latest About for Matthias’s channel reads: “Follow a band of YouTubers who found a key that unlocked a hidden world right inside their own studio.”
5. The Legend of the Traveling TARDIS
Official YouTube channel of The Legend of the Traveling TARDIS. Keep up on all things Doctor Who. New Who, Old Who, this channel has it all. The conversations are always lively and enlightening.
6. Writing with Jenna Moreci
I discovered Jenna Moreci a couple of years ago, and she is exciting! Jenna is also a Writer and makes videos about writing books. She’s “super interesting.” If one is looking for any information about their writing, check out Writing with Jenna Moreci. She has vlogged about many topics concerning novels.
7. Video Influencers
Ever wondered how to start your own YouTube channel? Want to grow the one you already have? What about monetization? If you have a question about YouTube, Video Influencers probably have the answer you seek. Learn their secrets, mindset, tips and best advice. Real talk with real Video Influencers. This is a great channel to get advice on all things YouTube channel related.
8. Russxplode Studios
I was asked to be a Guest on Russxplode Studios in March of 2021, and had a great time chatting with Russell Allen. Russxplode Studios: Books with heart’s YouTube channel have live videos and prior videos relating to his upcoming books and artist interviews.
9. Jamie Oliver
Jamie Oliver features beautiful recipes, expert tutorials, fresh talent, wonderful food and funny videos every week plus loads of your other favorite YouTubers dropping by. I’m not sure how I discovered this channel, but am glad I did. His cookbook, 5 Ingredients: Quick & Easy Food sits on our counter, and we prepare a meal from it at least once a week. His videos are entertaining, educational, and inspire us to cook together as a family.
10. WhatTravisSays
Blogger. WhatTravisSays was discovered in our house during the David Tennant/Matt Smith era of Doctor Who. We continued watching him together through Peter Capaldi’s run, and WhatTravisSays had lots of facts to keep us invested in his work. WhatTravisSays still uploads short, relevant videos to keep one entertained.
